Governance & responsibility

Modern Slavery Statement

A demonstration public statement addressing modern slavery and human-trafficking risks.

Purpose and commitment

Exploitation has no place in employment or the supply chain.

The company aims to identify and reduce risks of forced labour, servitude, trafficking and other exploitation within its operations and relevant supply relationships.

The approved statement should describe the organisation, relevant risk areas, due diligence, reporting arrangements, training and improvement activity for the reporting period.

Responsibilities

Clear ownership and escalation.

Directors should approve the final statement. Procurement, recruitment, HR and operational leaders should identify warning signs and act on concerns within their areas of control.

Reporting and review

Concerns must be acted upon.

Suspected exploitation should be reported immediately through the approved safeguarding, whistleblowing or management route and referred externally where necessary for safety or legal reasons.

Review dates, document ownership and the approved full policy should be confirmed before publication.
